Once again, in benefit for Friend to Friend.

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE:
PRACTICE ROUND: A practice round may be scheduled on one of these days: July 17, 18,19, or 22 based on availability. Fee $25

Tuesday, July 24 - 8:30 Shotgun
Final round. 18 holes of stroke play (shotgun). Awards luncheon immediately following round.

BENEFIT:
This event raises funds for Friend to Friend, a Moore County non-profit organization whose mission is to help survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault rebuild their lives.

ELIGIBILITY:
Entry is open to any female amateur golfer who has reached her 16th birthday by July 23, 2018 has a current, verifiable USGA Handicap Index® .No residency requirement.
ENTRIES AND ALTERNATES:
All players must complete an official entry form. The entry fee of $155 must be paid by each player and must accompany application. Only one entry fee per check.

Application deadline: July 15, 2018.
The final field will be comprised of players with the lowest handicap indexes. Alternates are ranked by handicap index. Applicants will be posted with status on www.MooreCountyWomensAmateur.com.
REFUND POLICY:
Entry fee refund policy schedule: Open Date to Close Date: Full refund minus donations to Friend to Friend. No refund after July 15, 2018 at 5pm. Alternates not accepted for play will receive a refund of her entry fee. Any additional donation goes to Friend to Friend.
FORMAT:
Two divisions; Championship and Friendship divisions played from different tees. Player chooses her division for competition. The championship is conducted at 36 holes of stroke play. A tie for over-all champion in both divisions is determined by an on-course playoff. All other ties will be broken by score card playoff in accordance with USGA recommended procedures.
COURSE FEES; GOLF CARTS; CADDIES:
Daily cart and range fees are included in the entry fee. Cart rental is mandatory for practice rounds. Golf cart use is mandatory during championship rounds. Caddies are not allowed. Practice round cart fee $25.
PRIZES:
The trophy is awarded to the over-all champion and merchandise certificates are awarded to flight winners.
The Friendship Tournament winner also receives a trophy.
The permanent trophy is engraved with the champion's name. This trophy is housed in the Givens Library throughout the year in the Village of Pinehurst.
